The first thing two people do when they meet is make eye contact. Your eyes need to be at their expressive best when interacting with others. You may not be born with the most beautiful eyes, but certainly, there are ways to make them “talk” through proper makeup. Here are some interesting tips to make your eyes the most attractive feature of your personality.

Before delving into eye makeup, tweeze and shape your eyebrows into a natural arch. Eyebrows are very important to eye makeup. You will find that most eye makeup packs come in a multitude of colors. The idea is to use these colors most judiciously, and enhance their inherent beauty.

Eye Shadow Application
· Begin by applying the lightest shade from the upper part of your lower lid to just under your eyebrow.
· Next, apply a medium shade over the eyelid up to the crease or just beyond it.
· The darkest shade be applied from the center of the eyelid to the outer edge.
· To highlight the eye shadow further, use the lightest shade with some color just below the brow bone extending it to 2/3rd on the way to the outer edge; blending it from thereon.
· Next, you may use a pencil or liquid liner just above the upper eyelashes and below the lower eyelashes. Use a tissue to blend it.

Mascara Application
· Use an eyelash curler on the upper lashes to accentuate the curl. Apply mascara to the upper lash and then a lighter shade to the lower lash. This provides a natural look to the lashes.
· Always apply by beginning from the base outwards. Twist the applicator as you move along.
· To remove clumps, use a metal eyelash comb.
· When applying a second coat, let the first coat dry.
